With about one hour to the end of polls, 200 ballot papers have been found in the room of running mate of Alfred Acquah who happens to be the running mate of Nana B (Samuel Amos Ofosu)
The papers were found in his locker already thumbprinted and folded. Intelligence picked on the ground indicates that Acquah had successfully instigated some members of the hall to cause chaos at the Commonwealth polling station and drop the papers in the ballot boxes as the planned chaos ensued.
It is reported that he has bribed them an amount of 100 Ghana cedis each to perform this task to save his sinking fortunes in the election. Other sources say that plans are underway to disrupt the voting and counting process at Sarbah by Nana B’s campaign team.

Ahead of this week’s SRC Presidential Election runoff, B.A Admin student and SRC President Hopeful Prince Asumadu has lamented about the continuous discrimination against Bachelor of Arts (B.A) Admin students in relation to internal and external elections by the Dean and leadership of the University of Ghana Business School.
In a letter addressed to the Dean of the University of Ghana Business School, Asumadu accused the Dean and his subordinates for supervising over a biased internal constitutional reform that has barred B.A Admin students from contesting to become leaders in the Junior Common Room of the Business School known popularly as BHJCR.
He called our the Dean on openly endorsing a BSc candidate ahead of the first round of the election when as a Dean was supposed to stay neutral knowing that his actions could deepen the factional cracks that he has lorded over.
He further referred to instances on city campus where Business School Students were told that he Prince Asumadu was not a member of the Business School to corroborate his allegations of discrimination.
In the ending paragraphs of his letter he states, “Why then the discrimination that no less a person than the Dean of Business School openly endorses a BSc candidate and neglects all other candidates from the Business School? If Prince Asumadu cannot lead the Business School because he is a B.A student and there is discrimination against B.A students, does it mean that as a B.A student, he cannot lead the SRC?”

The National Union of Ghana Students has today petitioned the Parliament of Ghana through the Office of the Speaker to “order the General Legal Council to respond to retrospective implementation of new examination rules which led to the failure of some law students who sat the entrance examinations.”
In a document signed and stamped by the Union’s General Secretary, Anthony Julius Kwame, NUGS prayed the Speaker of Parliament to order the General Legal Council to appear before the Constitutional, Legal and Parliamentary affairs committee of Parliament with the raw examination scores of students who sat for the examination last year and this year to demonstrate whether or not the separation of scores from the two sections existed before the just ended examinations.
Prior to the presentation of this petition, Mr Anthony Julius on Wednesday 6th October, 2021, addressed the press to register the Union’s displeasure with the way and manner which 499 students who met the 50% threshold were still disqualified and denied entrance into the Ghana School of Law.
Attached to the petition today was a 9 page memorandum recommending long term solutions to the current challenges of students in Ghana.
The Union is hopeful that Parliament will intervene and assuage the quandary of law students and initiate reform in the law school examination system.
Ag.SRC President addressing a function with Nana B behind him
Ever since the window was opened for students who wish to contest for SRC positions to begin canvassing, agitations are rife within the student populace about how the Ag.SRC President, Kwame Amo Ntow Fianko has been moving around with Amos Ofosu aka Nana B and how they have been spotted repeatedly moving around in vehicles and coming out of the SRC Union Building at very odd hours.
These agitations come on the back of abundance of evidence of excessive embezzlement of SRC funds, and how many SRC executives have complained about how the AgSRC President is causing financial loss to the SRC and misusing the students money.
Reliable sources in Nana B’s campaign team reveal to us that, the SRC President has conditionally promised his unflinching support to them if and only if Nana B promises him to cover up the following scandals:
1. GHC45,000 for SRC Handing Over Ceremony
2. Over GHC50,000 for administrative expenses (photocopying of documents)
3. GHC15,000 kickback at NUGS Congress
4. GHC20,000 kickback at USAG Congress
Nana B gladly accepted to do his best to cover up these corrupt deals and promised the current SRC President that he will make sure that no transparent auditing will be done to indict him. As an icing on the cake, Nana B promised to give Mr Kwame Amo 10% of the SRC dues in his tenure of office.
Some SRC executives can confirm that Mr Kwame Amo the acting SRC President has supported Nana B’s campaign with GHC8,000 of the SRC dues and has promised to bribe the UG security services to allow hooligans to cause commotion on campus on Election Day to make sure that Nana B wins through all foul means.
Notable among people present at the meeting to agree on this were Sampson Tabgor (2020 UGSRC Presidential Aspirant), Clinton Baffour Banning aka BBC (Outgone UG City Campus SRC President), and Justice Opoku Banahene (CEO of Infinity Transport)
